Forage Fine Perry

Our annual batch of naturally-fermented perry using the rare, tannic wild seedling pears that grow in hedgerows around the Gulf Islands—as well as heirloom Louise Bonne de Jersey pears from the 120-year-old trees at Old Orchard Farm. Fine natural bubbles from secondary in-bottle fermentation, undisgorged. It’s subtly sweet, savoury and tannic in turns, and totally delightful. Chill well upright.

2023 harvest. 7.2% ABV

Saanich Perry (Club Only)

Established in 1956, this Saanich pear orchard was first a part of Le Coteau fruit tree nursery, which changed hands in recent years and is now called Solamia Farm. For the last few years, we have been helping caretake multiple rows of 19th-century European pear varieties such as Louise Bonne d’Jersey, Flemish Beauty, and Conference. These culinary pears make a bright, floral perry that is easy to pair with food or enjoy on its own. Bottle conditioned for natural bubble.

Bittersweet Pét-Nat (SOLD OUT)

A new vintage of one of our favourites—combining bittersweet apple cultivars and the pétillant-naturel method. This has a classic, complex English profile with its low acidity and notes of rich toffee, ripe fruit and leather, making it a great match for rich cheeses, salty meats and nutty snacks. The apples were grown onsite at our Lupin Road  orchard, established in 2016. The main varietals were Dabinett, Bulmer’s Norman, Michelin, Kingston Black and Yarlington Mill. Serve only lightly chilled. Ancestral method.

Purple Crush (SOLD OUT)

A joyful and fresh frizzante red wine for summer celebrations. Carbonic maceration makes this a wildly fruit-driven, aromatic treat, and the blend of cool-climate and North American hybrid varietals bring a tangy kick—making this a great pairing for rich, salty foods. Agria and Pinot Noir grapes were sourced from Cherry Point vineyard on Vancouver Island, and Concords growing on 100-year-old vines were harvested from two historic Pender Island settler homesteads. Natural bubble, chill well upright.

2023 harvest. 11.5% ABV

Grape Friends Pét-Nat

Apples and grapes collaborate in this méthode ancestrale fruit wine. Agria red wine grapes hand-harvested on Vancouver Island were crushed, pressed in a wooden basket press and spontaneously fermented with apples from Saturna, Mayne and Pender Islands. Ancestral Method. Store cool and chill well upright.
